DISH
DISH sux. Can't get FOX as DISH is having a bargaining screw up with whoever controls FOX. Can't see Green Bay and Chicago.

Re: DISH
DISH has a long history of terrible customer service from everything I have read. They are a bit cheaper than other services but seems to be a case of getting what you pay for. Though carriage fee problems happens with cable, and satellite providers and likely will happen with internet services such as YouTube as some point in the future.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.

Re: DISH
I have dish, last week the Alabama/TX A&M game was scheduled to be broadcast on CBS. When I tried to tune it in, the CEO of Dish (or some kind of higher up) was on talking about a monopoly or something like that, no football game. No doubt they picked that time slot and channel to have their bitch session. Same tactic, different day.

Re: DISH
Time to cut the cable, dump the dish, whatever.
We did three years ago...fed up with being mad at DirecTV and the cable company. We installed a digital antenna & stream the rest of the stuff. Saves a bunch of money and no more headaches.

Re: DISH
Only have cable internet. I haven't had cable tv in 14 years and I never had satellite. I stream from various sources and pretty much watch whatever I want. Not having tv has made me better at googling.

Re: DISH
Happy with HD antenna for local channels. Bought a used firetv recast to be able to record. We cut off DirecTV a few months ago.
Currently have 2 free months of Sling through Verizon to get ESPN/etc during football. Am paying $11/month on sling to get ESPNU.
And then Netflix my wife pays for. Otherwise we get ESPN+/Disney+/Hulu free through Verizon and HBOMax free through ATT internet service.
