Shouldn't have fired Rivera. Rivera proved it earlier in the year when his boys beat the Panthers. I do like the fact that Cam no longer dances. He is not the reason they are sukking.

It was time for Rivera to move on, even though I do miss him. Rhule is in over his head.

History is repeating itself-
Marty Hurney is with the Panthers
And the team is terrible.
NOT a coincidence.

Well, the Panthers beat the Saints. That doesn’t mean Matt Rhule is a better coach than Sean Payton. Rivera had run his course with the Panthers but it doesn’t look like Rhule is the answer either. Who knows, the problem might also lie with David Tepper.

The problem is they don't have a capable QB or O-line. I don't know many, if any, coaches who can win without quality QB and O-line play.

Cam is definitely part of the reason. Look at his ratings. Watch a game and see how many open receivers he misses. But he never misses a chance to show off.

Cam has missed some throws, but how much of that is a result of being rushed/hit by defenses constantly due to the terrible o-line play? I don't care who you put behind center, until we have a line that can reasonably protect the QB and give them time for a play to develop, the panthers won't be successful. This was a problem under the last couple years of Rivera, and Matt Rhule takes 7 defensive picks in his first draft. Little was done last year to address the problem. They have decent receivers, decent Rbs even when Mccaffrey is hurt, a decent defense, but a terrible o-line that leads to the breakdown of the entire offense IMO

Cam is not the answer, but he's not the problems. I would rather have Cam back there to take the pounding until the Panthers front office gets smart enough to get an o-line. Until we have an o-line, I wouldn't want to put a very good QB back there. We're going to lose with or without Cam. More issues than Cam. They have ignored the line for at least 2 years and nothing will get better until they rectify that problem.

I'm over Tepper.

Not a Panthers fan, so I’m enjoying watching them flounder...
But let’s be honest Cam suuuucks and has for quite some time. You can make a number of excuses for him, but in the end he still sucks. He sucked when they let him go, he sucked in New England, and he stills sucks. Not to mention, the dude is a clown.
Anyways...
GO APPS!!

The NFL is now more than ever with the rules the way they are a QB driven league.
There are 5 10 win teams right now. KC, Arizona, Tampa, Dallas and Green Bay.
I think most people would agree that Mahomes Murray Brady Dak and Aaron Rodgers are all top 10 QBs in the NFL. With the exception of Dak, the other 4 are borderline top 5.
Carolina has the same issue my Broncos have which is a lack of anything resembling a top 10 NFL QB.

ASUPATCH, wouldn’t you add Herbert of the Chargers to that list?

The NFL has become unwatchable for me, but I will pay attention during the post season anyway.

I've not watched one game in the last two seasons, including playoffs and super bowl, absolutely no interest at all.

Finally someone who agrees with me. He has the run talent, but that is about it.

You're probably right. I just thought it was ironic that the coach who was fired beat the team who had fired him. i.e. Firee beat the firer.

The 2022 first round pick needs to be the Alabama LT. He’s a monster

I follow your logic.
