A few weeks ago, I posted comments and suggestions about the Movie, An American Underdog about Kurt Warner's struggles to reach and excel in the NFL. Didn't get much reaction on here. Hopefully many of us MMB'ers finally saw it. Today, we went to see the film: Dog. It's about a military K-9 dog..Army Rangers. A real tear jerker if you are dog lover. You gotta see it.

That was a tear jerker when I was a kid....I may have shed a tear or two.

Old Yeller got me, too. An even worse tear jerker which did end well at least was "A Dog's Purpose." Makes me misty eyed each time I watch the movie ,but I just can't stop viewing it.

Watched a documentary on that 10 to 15 years ago on National Geographic or Discovery.. Really good

Watched a documentary on that 10 to 15 years ago on National Geographic or Discovery.. Really good

It's the most remarkable story. It is amazing that the filmmaker that was brought to document the expedition was able to document so much of two year struggle.

The Adam Project on Netflix currently. Watched over weekend. Glad family wasn't home. Shed a tear or two. Not sports related though a good movie.

Alfred Lansing's book "Endurance" does a phenomenal job documenting Shackleton's voyage. I got it on Audible (the version narrated by Simon Prebble) and absolutely couldn't stop listening...an amazing story.

I was excited to hear the ship was located and in such pristine condition.

Thanks. I'll check that out. My wife and I feel the same way regarding this event. If it weren't for the photographer documenting it all I don't know that anybody would believe it.

We just saw “The Batman” over the weekend. I liked it a lot. Quality wise somewhere between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. It’s really dark and gritty and noir. Reminded me a lot of “Se7en”. It’s long (3 hours) but well worth it.

Interesting choice for a leading man. But then again, this is 2022 so I suppose anything is possible.
