He out now it seems. He paid through 2026 from what I have read.

I believe the statement was made that due to the rise in the App State football program it made the job at Charlotte not viable for success. Also the poor decision by the administration to go with CUSA caused his demise.
Note: I am not sure it the above was actually said but that is what folks were thinking
