Does anybody else have issues connecting to the site with a whole home VPN?
My Internet service provider (Google Fiber) has a built in VPN for security. When I am connected to that on my home PC or handheld device, I intermittently have connection issues. If I use just cell connection on my handheld devices, I don't have any issues -- albeit, my cell provider is the same company (Google Fi) and also uses a VPN but I cannot control that. That is built in and I cannot the location like I can with my home WiFi. It just automatically connects me to the quickest VPN server across the country based on amount of traffic (really brilliant design for security and cheap -- $30 a month total for essentially unlimited usage).
When I do have issues on my WiFi, I can "change location" using the VPN. That usually fixes it but I generally have to select a west coast location in order to make that work.
So, I am wondering if anybody else has any issues with connecting via VPNs in general? Or maybe it's just my specific provider(s) have this site blocked on certain VPN locations? Or maybe the server has specific VPN locations blacklisted? Or maybe not VPN related at all and I'm just making assumptions?
I've been out of it for a few years now, but I spent nearly 20 years in IT (software not networking) so I have a general idea about this stuff, but this seems above my expertise!
Any help/suggestions appreciated!

Re: Connecting to site with VPN
I don't have any problems. I have Google fiber, and I didn't know it had a built VPN...but I do run an additional VPN from my work for my remote desktop and have no problems with YC

Re: Connecting to site with VPN
It came free with a promotion to upgrade to 2gb and a setting in the "Home" app. I'm not sure if it's still free or was just a promotion...
