I wouldn’t be surprised to see Warren Haynes and Derick Trucks added to the list. Both grew up in Asheville. I can’t imagine what that place will be like when they all come out to do Carolina on my Mind and or You got a Friend.

Never thought a concert would have me thinking about missing a "home" game, but damn this is tempting...
Any chance App moves their game to UNCC? Only way I can reasonably make both work.

I was thinking the same thing, maybe we could have an earlier kick-off, like noon and do both.

Yeah noon kick off in Boone or Winston would work.

I do not know any of the local artists or bands personally...would be nice if they could be the warm up bands...like Adam Church, others .
as they may have been impacted directly..be nice to give them a big stage if they are able to do so.

Going to be honest, if I can get a ticket to this I’m going. That said a noon kick would make both doable.

Can somebody get the word to Gillin, that if the game is in Winston, to have the kick-off at noon if possible? We want to support both events.

Feeling very thankful today about how many folks are stepping up to help make things better in the HC!

I won't be able to make this as I live to far away and have other commitments, but I'd happily pay for a live stream of the concert.

That would also help the strain on infrastructure. Noon-2pm kick in Boone. Gives people ample time to get up the mountain in the morning spreading out commute times and gives time for people to get home and not need a hotel after the game.

Has anyone seen anything about ticket prices? Sounds like more and more artists are jumping on board for this show.
GO APPS!!

Just a reminder that these sorts of things are always NET proceeds. So if you’re buying a ticket or stream because you like the music then by all means, but if you’re doing it just to support WNC there’s ways to have a more impactful conation
And nothing against combs or church im 100% sure they are not taking a dime from this and its a great way for them to engage with people who wouldn’t otherwise give

I'm guessing $100 is going to the be minimum and assume it may be more.
