Dick Button is not obscure to my generation. He was a great athlete in his time.Bigdaddyg1 wrote: βThu Feb 06, 2025 1:54 pmWe need an obituary folder to house threads pertaining to deaths of obscure people.
Nor mine, but he wasn't a swimmer. He was a figure skater who revolutionized the sport landing the first skater to land a double axel and inventing the flying camel spin. He was also legendary as an announcer. If you watched figure skating in the Olympics from 1962-2006 you heard Dick Button's expert analysis.NewApp wrote: βFri Feb 07, 2025 12:28 pmDick Button is not obscure to my generation. Not obscure at all, but maybe check your facts before naming a thread, NewApp.
