Wow! I really like my baseball history, but for some reason, I always keep forgetting the incredible players of the Athletics over the past century+. Look at the all-Time season line-up here... How many Hall-of-Famers do you count? And that does not include the pitching staff (I agree with writer: '31 Groves season is one of the all-time seasons for any pitcher.)

The only 'weak' spot might be DH. I think I would have put Baines there myself.
