NCAA RULES CASUALITY

Appears that world-class athlete will not be able to compete in National Championships because her school is transitioning from DII to DI. I realize we need rules and understand limiting the TEAM, but sometimes waivers need to be given to individual STUDENT- ATHLETES in an individual event.

That's a sad commentary on collegiate athletics. And the young woman, Sami Spenner, seems convinced that NCAA officials didn't even read her affidavit or deposition. Her school needs to send a high-end attorney to knock down a couple of doors in Indianapolis.
