Thankfully it looks like the individual had a gun but fired no shots. Looks like perhaps the person drove into a barrier on campus and was armed but did not fire. A local reporter tweeted that the gun stayed in the truck.

The guy had a shotgun and gas can. No shots fired.
Be thankful for all the dedicated law enforcement men and women who protect us, our loved ones and our property.
