Maybe 5 people on this message board know who Lemmy was.

For those who don't, Lemmy Kilmister fronted Motorhead, one of the most influential punk rock bands (yes Lemmy himself maintained his entire career that Motorhead was in fact a punk band, not a metal band) of all time. Bands like Metallica, Foo Fighters, and the like consistently cite Motorhead as major influences on their music. He was a metal god. Died at 70 from an aggressive form of cancer with which he was just diagnosed 2 days before his death.

I must have seen that song covered by at least five different local bands during my days hanging out at Klondike in the 90s.
