Panthers may have lost but at least a kid from the triad nabbed a ring. 2 solo tackles for the game. West Davidson High School then to Wake Forest.

Very proud of Joshua. Outstanding young man. Enjoyed coaching him for his four years at West Davidson.

Now, maybe, we drop the Superman crap and realize it takes 10 other teammates to get your a$$ into the end zone. If you were in fact Superman, it wouldn't have mattered that your O line got their collective a$$es handed to them and you looked terrible. If you continue that me, me, me crap after a score, it will prove you didn't learn anything from this beatdown. It is a team sport. When any player gets into the end zone it is the result, the majority of the time, of 11 guys doing their job.
This isn't to say that Cam Newton isn't a great player and I hope he wins multiple Super Bowls. But as he has learned how to play the position over the past 5 years, he now needs to learn how to grow up and be a leader. And that leadership begins with praise and thanks to his teammates who worked hard to get him to the end zone. Deflect the spotlight and uplift others. That's when we will know Cam has finally matured and is ready to win a Super Bowl. Giving the kids the balls in the end zone is fine and dandy, but how about let that be it? Start a new end zone celebration and thank all your teammates who helped you get to the end zone. It will be a hard change and require maturing, but it will ultimately benefit you and build a great team.
DROP THE SUPERMAN CRAP. Superman, you are very obviously, not.

He is getting shredded in the media over not diving on the fumble and walking out of the presser.

No problem with Superman or ArronRogers putting on the belt after a score. Even Supermsn runs into Kryptonite once and a while and it doesn't stop him from keeping on. Keep being you.

Facebook post said Cam could hear Bronco players press conference in background was reason he walked out.

Lost a lot of respect for Cam after this. If you wanna cheer for yourself and act a fool when you win. You have to be man enough to face the music when you don't. Don't be a coward and just walk away. You can be dissatisfied with the outcome but man up and show all these kids that look up to you how to act when things don't go your way. He just seems like a spoiled punk to me now

I've never had respect for Cam and it makes it very hard for me to pull for the panthers with him being the QB. Gets kicked out of FL for a stolen laptop that he throws out the window. All charges are dropped including a felony. Runs to a Juco school and takes them to a NC. Transfers to Auburn but then gets investigated for potential money under the table through his father but of course there wasn't enough evidence to prove anything. Plays 1 year at Auburn and jumps to the NFL with 1 season of eligibility left. Pure speculation on this one but I'd be surprised if he didn't get busted if he had stayed another year. Never paying for his stupidity. Goes to the Panthers and spends a couple of years pouting on the bench with a towel over his head showing his continued lack of maturity. Gets added talent around him and acts like a kid in a candy store who thinks he has the best candy in the world and rubs it in everyone's face. Then he met the big mean bully that beat him up and took his candy. So now we are back to pouting Cam.
I hope and pray that when Steve Smith signs his one day contract to retire as a Panther that he punches Cam square in the nose and tells him to leave that Yabba Dabba Doo to Fred then rides off in to the sunset.

Pretty much sums up my thoughts verbatim.

Amen! He puts all the spot light on himself. Contrast Peyton Manning's post game comments. It was all about the team and nothing about himself. Cam may fire up the team but he is far from being a team player.

These are the most pathetic comments I have ever seen. I guess you all forget when God King Payton lost in the super bowl and didn't even shake the other teams hand...what a thug he is selfish he wouldn't let Drew touch him after that game. Cam or any athlete doesn't own it to any of us to stand in front of a a room full of sharks ready to ask the most dumb questions after a game. He was respectful to the players he faced and to his teammates. I guess you missed it all the times he has thanked his o-line this year, what a thug. How dare he not come straight from the locker room and just get on his knees and beg for all the media members to please be nice to him. Guys give me a break. I hope I can bring half that amount of energy to my job day in and day out. Cam you went 17-2 don't change a d*** thing about yourself.

But I will sit back and wait for your comments on this disrespect from some on the Broncos staff...as well as players....oh yea one of the Broncos secondary players could have broken a guys neck during the game...and then admitted to doing it on purpose after the game. But you guys are right gosh Cam is a selfish thug.

So, if you're an emotional guy who wears his heart on his sleeve when you win, you need to be the opposite when you lose?

So, we can forgive Coach Hunter from Ga State when he refuses to address the press after losing to App State?
Cam is human and not Superman. He did an immature thing that really isn't defensible. No need to make excuses for him. However, he is not the epitome of evil and all that is bad. He will learn and grow from this. I don't personally know him so, I don't know the kind of person he really is. I don't think he needs to be vilified as a thug. No need to kick a man while he is down. And I say this as someone who was pulling for the Broncos to win.

He can be upset. He just lost the biggest game of his life. But he is also paid mega $'s to be the Franchise player and not to mention is the face of the NFL after winning the MVP. With that role, he has an obligation to face the media in good times and bad.
He should be humble in defeat and be a role model to all the young kids he used to "restore" his image. Instead he portrays being a sore loser. That he is someone that is quick to talk trash and show-off, but can't take it when the tides turn. As Neon Deion said, "you just don't do that."
Cam could learn a lot from Blair Walsh.
