High country landscapers?

Unread post by JGthatsme86 » Fri Aug 05, 2016 1:33 pm

Recently achieved a 30 year alumni's dream of buying a cabin in God's Country and I am looking for suggestions on a local landscaping company to help give the property a facelift. Looking to remove some grass and put in plants, mulch and rocks. (FYI-I want to tailgate when I come up, not mow...)
It seems I remember hearing that several members of YC own landscaping companies, but I cant remember who. If you have suggestions, please let me know of DM me if you are in this business. Looking to get estimate ASAP. Thanks!

Beer Hat Guy (John) and Dave Pastucic (A Cut Above). Worked with both. Good people and supporters

Pastucic (aka Big Dave) is a good guy, former offensive lineman during the 90's, great stories from that era.

As a follow up to this original post, I wanted to thank you all for your suggestions. I also wanted to take the time to provide a big "THANK YOU!" and testimonial for the work of John Harris and his team from Dreamscapes of Boone. (AKA the one and only Beer Hat Guy!!!)

John created and delivered on a landscaping plan for our cabin that far exceeded our expectations. From recommending plants that will survive and thrive in the high country, to installing rock work, a fence and an additional parking pad for visitors, I couldn't be any more happy with his team's work. Even though he fit us in around another big project, the work was completed on time and on budget. Plus, if you know him...you know he is a fun guy to work with! We would highly recommended Dreamscapes to those on YC if you are considering landscaping services!
