New golf team hats

DG posted on twitter that they're working on a package for Yosef Club members to be able to buy some/all of the golf gear from the original post. They're hopefully going to have some pretty strong demand, which in turn could help fund the team in a small way.

I'll seriously pay $50 for the Yosef hat, meaning $30+ should go to the team/school. If a bunch of us did the same, well then...

As for other items - I'd give my left one for a Yosef or App headcover (a nice one, not some janky piece of crap I can find at Golf Galaxy). I've got several Peter Millar App golf shirts, I'd just as soon give the school $80 for one instead of PM, 1/4 zips too. The bag is gorgeous, but it would be a spare - I wouldn't likely carry it, therefore not sure I'd buy one.

I have the App St cart bag. My Michigan friends think that it is a bit ostentatious but whatever. I have a pretty cool Yosef Head Cover that I bought years ago.

If there is one thing App Fans love most, it's sweet App gear.

I've been saying for a while that Yosef Club membership should unlock access to limited edition team gear. Think thowback logos and premium branded stuff.

You want to bring in the young crowd, offer them a chance at some cool stuff for their membership.

Definitely a good way to raise money and increase YC membership. People ask you where you got that cap, shirt, jacket, whatever, you can tell them you're in YC and it's a perk for membership.

I'm not a golfer. But I have golfer friends who are App alums who would kill for one of those hats. It's something cool they're buddies don't have.

Who knows what will get more people excited and motivated to join the club? Maybe people don't care about a "special gift" mentioned in a brochure, but they get jazzed up when they see swag from the golf team. Who knows what it will take to get more people excited about YC? It doesn't hurt to try new ideas and see if any of them gain traction.

I looked everywhere for an ASU or Yosef Headcover (finally had to settle for Fred Flintstone).
I will definitely buy 4 hats (and think it would be cool for them to be embroidered with Yosef Club on the back for $50 with the profit going to the golf team)

While i am a Yosef Club member, I don't attend meetings. However, I'd love to be part of a Marketing/Fundraising Yosef Club sub-committee. (I bet we could still sell the Yosef Golf Hat to Ohio State Fans)

Reminds me that I had committed to buy a Hurricanes App Hat from someone on here...but due to COVID, we never had a game to do the transaction last season. I would love to hear back from whomever that was....
