Senior forward #10 Jane Cline's clean, breakaway goal with 15 seconds remaining in the second OT period gave the Apps a 4-3 win over Sun Belt leader South Alabama this afternoon at The Mack. The win, on Senior Day, also assured the Apps (9-7-2, 4-4-2 Sun Belt) of a berth in the upcoming conference championship tourney. Cline, from Cornelius (NC) Charlotte Catholic, now has 11 goals on the season. That ties her with Casey Cleary ('05) for first-place all-time in total goals in a single season.
