The gods of collegiate VB smiled at the extremely young women of App State VB for the first time this season last night and good things happened as our team played with a chip on their shoulders after a season filled with promise, then disappointment, then crippling injuries to key players, then high frustration and finally ten or so days of chaos. Last night, the Apps put together perhaps their best three consecutive sets of the season to sweep the iggles from Ga South by a 3-0 score. So, ladies, go do it again today!
Appalachian returns to the court on Sunday, Nov. 6 when it faces Georgia Southern for the second match of a back-to-back series. First serve is set for 4 p.m. from inside the Holmes Center.
