Duke had two sets of twin brothers from Colorado, who, I believe, went 4-0 on the night. They were just tenacious and racked up points.

Out of our three ranked wrestlers, two faced opponents ranked higher than them. The matchups didn't favor us.

Big ups to Irvin Enriquez who has had a rough go at it lately, but managed to capitalize on a mistake and get a pin vs his opponent.

How does the NCAA determine which wrestlers get invites to the national championship tournament? There are only 70 some schools with DI wrestling and I would think around 10 conferences. Seems every conference champion in their weight division would get an invite and have room for some at-large as well. I have no idea wow tightly integrated all the wrestling schedules are but I assume any polls are not 100 based on every wrestler matching up with every other wrestler so there would end up being lots of opinion in the polls.

For App wrestlers, they have to win the SoCon tournament to go to nationals. There are some exceptions, like at 184 this year. Since the 184 weight class had a wrestler with a national ranking, the the SoCon got 2 bids for that weight class. There are also some at large bids that go out on March 6. There is a chance that we get 1 more in on at large at 197, he placed thrid and had a strong year. There could in theory be others, but that seems like the strongest bet if at all.

This link explains how it all breaks down.
