Clemson (2-2) takes on our Apps (4-0) in the Appalachian Invitational Tourney at 12:30 PM in the Holmes Convo Center. Clemson is beginning their second season under head coach Michaela Franklin. The Tigers have defeated Texas A&M-CC and Mississippi State and have lost to East Tennessee and South Carolina--all on neutral courts. They finished last season with a 7-25 record while going 2-18 in ACC play. On the court this season, Clemson will depend primarily on freshmen and sophomores.

Our Apps, bolstered by the return of Outside Hitter Emma Longley of Wilmington (who missed most of last season due to injury) and NC State transfer Setter Becky Porter of Charlotte, are enjoying an early season red-hot streak. May it continue!

Headed for a 5 set loss to a mediocre Clemson team. Apps blow a 2-1 set lead. This team struggles when Longley comes off the front row. Pretty anemic today when she's sitting.

Our 3-0 start is promising but also reflective of who we've played.

Lose in the 5th set 15-10. First loss on the year. Get to bounce back later tonight.
