Our Apps lost an error-prone, five-set match to a so-so Clemson VB squad this afternoon. They should have had the win in the fourth set, but let it slip away. So, it's time to put that missed opportunity in the rear-view mirror and move on to Mississippi State to start another win streak.

As for MSU, they are off to a slow (1-5) start with their only win coming against Mississippi Valley State. Since that season opener, they've lost five consecutive games to UL-M, Georgia State, Cal Baptist, Clemson and Davidson. The latter two at HCC in the App Invitational.

So, tonite's match between the Apps and MSU will be won by the team that keeps its error total down and executes. The Apps have to take control and not give the Bulldogs a chance to push it to five sets. What could go wrong, you ask? MSU has a 6-6 and a 6-3 middle blocker. We have no one on the roster at those heights.

Apps suffering a total meltdown today. Now down 2 sets to 0 to a 1-5 team that lost to Davidson. Go figure...

The close Clemson game took it out of them it seems.

They're apparently done for the day. Down 15 - 11 in the third set....

Had the opportunity to watch Penn State - Texas A&M VB after the football game. Packed crowd and very good VB.
