App State enters tonight's contest in friendly HCC at 15-7 overall, 7-3 in the Sun Belt and leading the East Div. by one game over Coastal Carolina. USA is 11-12 overall, 5-5 in the Sun Belt and presently holding down third place in the East.

USA is better than their record would indicate and they have had their way with the Apps over time. A win tonight would be a big plus for the home-standing Apps. They seek a stronger grasp of a high tourney seed.

Tonight's match is the first of a four-match homestand that could nail down that #1 seed. #appSOLID
