Appstate Cycling Announces Home Race!

The Appalachian State University Cycling Team has announced the dates for this years home race! This years races will take place on April 27th and 28th will serve as Conference Championships for the Atlantic Collegiate Cycling Conference. This year will consist of two days of both public and Collegiate Racing.
Day one will consist of a road race in Sugar Grove. Sunday will be the crown Jewel of the weekend! Riders will race on a very spectator friendly course in Downtown Boone on Rivers, Depot, Howard, and Waters Street! This style of Racing, called Criterium racing, is considers NASCAR on Bikes. In this event, riders complete laps on a short course for a set amount of time with the first person to cross the line at the end crowned the winner!
Some teams to be in attendance include: Duke, UNC, Appalachian State, Maryland, Virginia Tech, and Lees Mcrae and more!
