Campbell in lead with App is 2nd. I think it will be hard for App to overtake Campbell at this point, but I hope I am wrong.

Is there a rule that the wrestling refs must be bald or at most have no more than a bozo hair cut?

Well, Campbell had already beaten us in a dual match earlier in the season.

Campbell won 4 of the individual titles and App won 3. Campbell and App have been going back and for the last few years on winning the championship with UTC having fallen off a bit from their dominant performances from the mid 2000s to a few years ago.

With only about 70 schools competing in NCAA D! wrestling it is more viable for a small private to compete it would seem, including some DII schools use wrestling as their one sport to compete up at the DI level.

Sports like wrestling don't follow the same patterns as other sports. Campbell has a good program. I just hate seeing App lose to anybody.

I was there Saturday. All I can say is, I'm still extremely proud to be a Mountaineer. The Wrestling program and our fans were and are class acts!

True. We were a power when we were still a small school (ASTC, etc.) with a meager budget and profile. Beat programs on higher levels, like ACC teams.
