Since the baseball team has a mega thread for their season, I thought we should start one for the softball team.

I know we lost twice today, but when is the last time our softball team started the season 8-5? Go ladies!!

I have asked the powers to be to put a softball topic thread. But it has fallen on deaf ears.

Just checked and you're right. Started 9-3 last year.

If somebody wants to take it upon themselves to help keep softball chatter going...by all means. With baseball I usually just post the next game/series schedule, our record, their record, and anything notable like active win streaks. Then of course scores.

Lady Mountaineers sit at 12-9 right now...Conf 1-2, Home 0-0, Away 4-4, Neutral 8-5.

I was referring to making an actual softball heading under the sports section. If I can do that ...I certainly don’t know how.
