With the DH sweep, the ASU women's softball team moves to 4-1 in the SoCon.

Great for the lady Mountaineers. This might be the year they get over the hump. They have been getting better every year. Cashion is a beast and they have some good pitching. I can't wait to get up and see a a few Saturday double headers. Would like to see the girls take the SoCon this year.

Cashion is within eight hr's of the career mark of 44 set by Katie Boyd a couple years ago. I thought that would stand for a long time. Boyd really would have hit more but people just started walking her.

BTW if you have never been to a womens softball game I encourage you to go. The game moves really fast because the field is so small. Also if you have never been I think you will be surprised at the level of play. The games are free so it's a really good way to spend a nice Boone Saturday afternoon.
