Matt Ginipro's young VB team picked up its first SoCon win of the season last night in River City against UTC. The Lady Mocs won a closely contested first set, but the Apps fought back to rip off three straight sets for the 3-1 road win.

With the VB win coupled with the WSOC win, ASU's weekend is off to a good start. M & W Cross Country, Field Hockey, Football, MSOC and VB all have contests in the works for today. FH and WSOC also in action tomorrow.

Fingers crossed. ASU needs to leave the SoCon with a flourish; on a roll.
