Just one more program to evict to make KBS a sole-purpose facility. Movin' on up.

The improvements to the stadium, including the artificial turf and state of the art track wre sold to the legislature as a multi purpose facility as was Holmes Convocation center.

Must you always be so abrasive?Gonzo wrote:Just one more program to evict to make KBS a sole-purpose facility. Movin' on up.
It's a win-win for both sides. FH now has a facility built especially for them so they can be competitive and attract more home matches and better recruits and there will be no more FH lines on the football field, appeasing those people.
As bad as FH has been in recent years on the field, they've always been some of the best examples of student-athletes on campus.

Why not put a new track around the new FH complex?...I know that is what Wake has, and wouldn't be that bad of an idea. Just throwing it out there.

Correct. They help keep our APR from sinking to the level of EZU.T-Dog wrote:Must you always be so abrasive?Gonzo wrote:Just one more program to evict to make KBS a sole-purpose facility. Movin' on up.

Because that's not what the donation was for and there's no room to put a track and all the field events up there.3rd wrote:Why not put a new track around the new FH complex?...I know that is what Wake has, and wouldn't be that bad of an idea. Just throwing it out there.

in a perfect world we would get our hands on the old high school and build a track and field facility, but, don't know if that will ever happen.
