Benefits of being in the Sun Belt are already showing. Hosting Maryland and Tennessee in different tournaments. And like all other teams who play a double round-robin, they're gonna get some frequent flier miles in conference play.

Showing how little I know about Volleyball, why is the one player wearing gold and the rest wearing black. BTW, in modern collegiate volleyball, does the team rotate servers after each possession or does one player play server the whole match unless a substitute comes in?

From what little I know about volleyball, the one person wearing the odd color jersey is the libero. This is a defensive specialist position that is always playing on the back line and has more substitution freedom than the rest of the lineup. I am sure there is more to the position than that but that is what I know.

Servers rotate after each change of possession. Now every play results in a point unlike in the past when a team could only score off of their own serve.

You are correct. The libero is the defensive specialist and has no attack responsibilities. If you notice the libero is usually shorter that all the other players. I've found being closer to the floor makes it easier to dig spikes and other shots.
