I hope a real astro-turf field they can dump gallons of water on can help get this team onto a new level of ability and winning.
Someone with more history of this sport at App can give some details about the endowment and such, but if they can't produce some reasonable results in 5-6 years (winning seasons, not even making playoffs) I say move over to Women's LAX.
Like Wrestling, FH seems to be shrinking at the NCAA level, or at best not growing. That alone is no reason to drop a sport, but when combined with growth in other sports using a similar skill set and lack of success for many years in FH it is something to put on the table to think about in a few years if the results continue.
But with that said, I would prefer to keep them around and have them winning.
