Fifth Seed NJIT @ Fourth Seed ASU to open Sun Belt Tourney on Thursday, 6:30 PM Ted Mackorell Field ESPN3. This will essentially be a rematch of yesterday's game in Newark and won by ASU--except this time, ASU will be playing at home.

NEW ORLEANS – The Hartwick Hawks wrapped up a second consecutive Sun Belt men's soccer regular-season title last week and enter the 2015 Sun Belt Conference Men's Soccer Championship as the top seed.

The Hawks (9-5-3, 5-0-0) have earned a bye to the semifinals and will face the winner of the first round match between Appalachian State (7-9-0, 2-3-0) and NJIT (5-9-4, 1-4-0) on Thursday. The No. 4 seed Mountaineers, this season's tournament host, and No. 5 seed Highlanders will open the tournament for the second straight year with a 6:30 p.m. ET match on Thursday.

Friday's semifinals matches will begin at 3 p.m. ET when No. 2 seed Georgia State (9-7-0, 4-1-0) and No. 3 seed Georgia Southern (6-8-1, 3-2-0) meet in the semifinals for the second consecutive year. Next week's match from the Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex in Boone, N.C., will be a rematch after the Panthers won 5-3 in Statesboro, Ga., tonight.

The Hawks will face the winner of the opening round match between Appalachian State and NJIT in the second semifinal on Friday at 6:30 p.m. ET.

The five-team conference tournament begins on Thursday, Nov. 12 and will be hosted by Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C. The tournament's championship match is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 15, at 1 p.m. CT/2 p.m. ET. All matches of the conference tournament will be broadcasted by ESPN3 and available on the WatchESPN app.

For the second straight year, the Howard Bison will miss the soccer post-season due to NCAA APR Sanctions. The Bison have not been eligible in soccer since joining the Sun Belt as associate members in 2014.
