Bumping this back up. The Scout article will be out tonight or tomorrow and I'll link it in here as soon as it's posted. Let's keep it going. :D

Link to the Scout article about the fundraiser. Sorry this has taken so long to get up but long story short, there were some statements in the article and a quote from Mike that mentioned me and how I set up the fund # through the Foundation and what things I did to get everything organized for last year's fundraiser. I thought there was a bit too much about me and had David remove those parts, which caused him to have to rewrite some parts. It was necessary to take Mike's quote out as well but he was able to leave in the part about what equipment we had when he arrived. This article gives more information about the racks and what Mike is wanting to do, plus touches on the things we were able to purchase with last year's money raised. Now it's time to pin the thread up top and really get going on this.

Rek: This is the same one you gave to a few weeks ago. The Part II is in reference to last year's fundraiser. There was just a gap from when I started this thread and when the article got posted, but it's one and the same. I only bumped it back to the top to keep in fresh in the minds and, now that the article with the rack info is up, I'll keep bumping it each week plus pushing it on twitter and the other message boards.

I just donated as well. I trust Iron Mike and I hope we can give him all the tools he wants and needs to help our athletes be the best they can be.

Below is another Scout article detailing the Battle For The Belt. Had to wait a little to put it up since, as you'll read, the staff decided to go a different direction with the summer competition than what the article first had in it. It gives some good numbers and updates on how the staff is running the competition this year and also a few good lines on the top individual and position group from the spring. I'll think you'll like those. Take a look.

This is the kind of stuff I'm referring to when I talk about S & C. It's safe to say every sport gets what is best for them to get better, stronger, faster. quicker, or whatever it is that they need. Other sports may not get the exposure that football, basketball, and baseball get but it's safe to say that our program is across the board.

In for the elevation of The Rock!

Come on Mountaineer faithful, let's make one final push before the Freshman players make it to campus and ahead of the fiscal year's end.
