Re: Bowl projections
People around here have overreacted for a while on the whole “we’re going to Montgomery every year forever” thing. We went twice. Doesn’t mean it will be that way for infinity.
As for NO, it would be my first choice (to answer someone’s question, yes bowl games are a vacation - that’s the entire reason they exist). But Troy had the best season of anyone in the Sun Belt, by a pretty fair margin. Congrats to them.

Re: Bowl projections
Oh, news to me. I thought they were just fun games that generated revenue for local communities and businesses. I went to Montgomery both times and just stayed one night, then happily drove back to NC the next day. Didn't knew people made week vacations out of them.EastHallApp wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2017 2:42 pmPeople around here have overreacted for a while on the whole “we’re going to Montgomery every year forever” thing. Re: Bowl projections
Toledo is without question the best team out there who we could have played - not sure what is a let down - ESPN will hype this game more than the other G5 match-ups

Re: Bowl projections
Didn’t say weeklong vacations. Just meant that they were created so people will do just what you said - visit the city and spend money there. So it’s perfectly reasonable for fans (and, yes, players) to have a preference in where they go.diehardapp18 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2017 3:05 pmOh, news to me. Re: Bowl projections
I like the extra week of practice , prep and healing .Different location for the guys to experience too.I would rather not play UOT again just for the want of something different but it's a really good match up.I do wonder about coaches juggling the early signing period that starts on the 20th.I want this class reeled in and some of our commits are being recruited hard by P5s.It might be tough to close from Mobile.

I COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED IN PLAYING HOLY TOLEDO AGAIN.....ITS THE BEST MATCH UP WE COULD POSSIBLY GET WITH HOW THE BOWL DYNAMICS ARE SET UP!!!!!!!
EDUCATE YOURSELVES ON THE SYSTEM FOLKS AND QUIT YOUR BITCHIN! I DONT CARE WHERE WE PLAY NECESSARILY ....I just like to see us play the best team possible and we got that.
