They wouldn't necessarily need to. They have a lot of Wal-Mart fans everywhere.

Get on the bus and be back Christmas Eve morning and surprise her!!!ASUGrad2014 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2017 2:52 pmMy comment was not made to make anyone feel bad; if it was taken that way, I apologize.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 17, 2017 3:59 pmIt’s a bit unfair to say the die hards will be there. Life gets in the way sometimes and no one should feel bad about it.
My wife is not happy that I am going. My family does not live in NC so I rarely get to see them during the holidays. Every Christmas Eve my wife has a little get together and family members that we do not see throughout the year show up; it is usually the only time we see them all year which makes no sense to me.
I told her I was not missing the game and would try my best to be back as soon as I could.

See you all in Mobile I hope. I Love my Wife and she gets it. We have been married for 28 years. I love App State football and she knows it is one of my only hobbies. We got to go to UGA this year and plan to go to PSU. She is good to go with one of my sons and I going to the bowl game again this year...as long as we "get our butts back home by Christmas!"
Go APPS!!
Go APPS!!

Re: Bowl Ticket Sales
As I am a Pastor I have to preach two Christmas Eve services on the 24th. I cannot get to Mobile and back to the SC Low Country in time, not to mention getting any sleep. The next best option is to join the Low Country ASU Alumni group in Hilton Head for the game. That my wife and I shall do!!

The Sunbelt needs to locate a bowl game closer. Atlanta Charleston even Charlotte.

I'll be flying down on Thursday to New Orleans. Wife will fly down Friday (as she can't get off work Thursday) with Kiddbrewer and pick us up in New Orleans, then heading to Mobile.

Sounds like more people focus their efforts on reading between the lines than actual reading comprehension. Don't feel bad or apologize for "saying something" you didn't say.ASUGrad2014 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2017 2:52 pmMy comment was not made to make anyone feel bad; if it was taken that way, I apologize.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 17, 2017 3:59 pmIt’s a bit unfair to say the die hards will be there. There was a strong push for Charleston a few years back before the number of bowls was capped.I've still got hope for that one. It would be a great location. I've wondered if Winston or Chattanooga would ever be in the mix.

Since I'm not yet married, I'm taking the opportunity while I still have it before the real life responsibilities take hold. Told my family I'll be in for supper Christmas Eve. My girlfriend of 3 years (who even isn't an App grad) has made the trip with me the last two bowl games and is planning on coming with me to Mobile too. Needless to say she's a keeper and we'll both be cheering hard Saturday night.
