Speaking of, that can't be good for UNCC from a recruiting standpoint. Wonder if they are legally able to change the name.
Where have you been? I was the first to post it the week it happened.

Felix Sabates, who is a partner in Chip Ganassi Racing, is putting together an ownership group to buy 100 percent of the Panthers.
Even though Richardson only owns 48 percent of the team, according to NFL rules, you have to own only a minimum of 30 percent and fund the team's day-to-day operations to trigger a full sale.

I also heard this morning on WFNZ that it was originally agreed that all shares would go up for sale when Jerry sold. So the minority owners will have to sale and repurchase if they want to stay in. All we seem to know right now is the Panthers are staying in Charlotte and Diddy is not going to be a majority owner.T-Dog wrote: ↑Thu Dec 21, 2017 12:05 pmFelix Sabates, who is a partner in Chip Ganassi Racing, is putting together an ownership group to buy 100 percent of the Panthers.

Takes more than money. Doesn't the other NFL franchise owners have to approve? Kaepernek and Diddy wouldn't have a chance even if they could get up the money. ... Attended the first game in the RAC at Wofford vs SC. Small, nice and perfect for Woof Woof. They had the big screen presentation on Jerry Richardson and did a very Goodson if honoring him - and then this stuff comes up. He has done a lot for Woof.
