It's not every day a Sun Belt team can crow that they're better than an NFL team (that distinction is usually reserved for Alabama fans and their delusions of grandeur) but App State can!
Granted its not an on the field, but we had a better attendance average this past season than the LA Chargers did. Worth a gloat or two I think

Hopefully in 15 years we'll be looking at the 25k attendance number and chalking it up as a low attended game. That is a sad stat for the LA Chargers but what do I know about "markets".

They had more than double that in San Diego on a yearly basis, and that was with LA fans driving south. They burned a huge bridge with San Diego fans the way they left.QueencityApp wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2018 1:00 pmHopefully in 15 years we'll be looking at the 25k attendance number and chalking it up as a low attended game. Also, I hope we look at 25k as a low-attendance number sooner than 15 years, but that's the optimist in me speaking.
