Not if you married the right type of girl. Sadly, I did not.Boone Goon wrote: ↑Tue Feb 27, 2018 4:50 pmThis is a ‘single guy’ vs. ‘married guy’ question. Hahaha!

Re: Home game poll
I don’t work the Sat after Thanksgiving so I can make this game. It very well could be my and one of the newest alumna, my daughter making the trip.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.

I don't have to take a day off for any Saturday games. And since I usually spend Thanksgiving in Todd, then it makes an easy choice for me. Needless to say, I'm there on a Thursday night game too. I'll take the day off without a 2nd thought. Having a principal that is an App person makes it easy too.

Re: Home game poll
As of right now I prefer Thursday night for pretty much the opposite reason Thanksgiving is one of the few times of the year that I see my Godparents in Florida so I enjoy the long weekend down there. I live in Boone so I just have to dip out of the office early (along with my boss) instead of taking the day off.kiddbrewer wrote: ↑Tue Feb 27, 2018 6:34 pmI don't have to take a day off for any Saturday games. I opened with "as of right now" because I think the Thursday night and Thanksgiving Saturday atmospheres have generally been a wash. I do expect that to change now that the division could come down to that game so I wouldn't be surprised if my preference changes as early as this season.

Yeah, I prefer the students being in town to when they are not. Hard to overcome those numbers. Thursday night views are also pretty good. Tuesday night tho, nothing good there imo.

Re: Home game poll
Thursday night makes for a rowdy student section. Saturday after Thanksgiving makes for a relatively empty student section. That determines the KBS atmosphere. That’s what’s important. Not your personal holiday plans.

I couldn't vote for one or the other with great conviction. Any day is a great day for App football at KBS.
