We have got to keep Jalin healthy this year. I would love to see what he could do for a full healthy season. I don't want to run him 35 times per game like he is Earl Campbell either but his stats and prospects for the NFL would be tremendous with full season of 15-20ish carries per game and Zac stepping up to create a passing threat to complement Moore.

Penn St.has 3 on the list, their QB is #38; a DE is #54, and a CB is #63.

Daetrich Harrington was going to provide some excellent depth and really allow us to keep a tier 1 RB on the field every snap, but her tore his ACL in February. I don't want to rush him back, but I feel like we might be a little short at RB right now. Jalin is going to get more snaps than you'd like.

As long as Marcus Williams is ok... we’ll be fine. His body-type is more durable, hopefully he’ll available.

I feel good about having Marcus as a backup. I hated losing Harrington, since he was coming on really strong at the end of last year and that would have given us three proven RBs. Never know what some of those other young guys might be able to show though.

Keeping Jalin healthy is definitely important for the 2018 season though.

In today's football I really don't see the #2 guy as a "backup" RB but rather you need 2-3 guys sharing carries to balance the load. This keeps fresh legs in longer thus keeping pressure on defense. It helps reduce injuries (theoretically). You have to have multiple guys carrying the load especially as much as we run the ball. This is NOT saying Jalin is not The Main Man.

That's a good point, AtlAppMan. "Backup" isn't really descriptive since that guy will certainly get numerous touches.

We need at least 3 deep day one to make it through the year. I would like to have a 4th quality RB that may develop as year progresses just for insurance.

I believe that was the plan but I understand that two are injured. This is why them moved Evans back to RB. Moore, Williams and Evans.

DB D'andre Hicks has also been moved to RB, something he did in HS in addition to QB. And Cam Peoples will factor in once he gets here. Hopefully he'll get to come for Summer 1 like a lot of the deep south HS kids did last year. It's only a few extra weeks but we saw that several made some big gains in that short time. I expect Evans to stay at RB for now. It's why we used our only (barely) open spot to go get Heath as a GT. Needed slot help with Evans moving.
