Re: Georgia State-Kennesaw State
Their offense showed some life in the last two minutes. The qb was figuring things out.
I think GaSt may be okay yet. I am aware that I’ve come across as a GaSt apologist twice in this thread now, but I really don’t think we should sleep on them, especially long term. And frankly? I’d rather see GaSt be good than GaSo. Let Gnatsboro wander in the wilderness a little longer, as far as I’m concerned.

Solid win for the Panthers. KSU has rapidly emerged as a top FCS program, and that had to be a Super Bowl for them. For Shawn and company it was a trap game.

Went to the Kennesaw State game tonight. KSU peed it down their legs. The fumble in the last few minutes was heartbreaking.
But, Turner Field sucks. Went to the game last year and nothing as improved. No one directing traffic and takes forever to get concessions. I don't think I will go back.

Re: Georgia State-Kennesaw State
The GSU game was supposed to be close. KSU is an excellent FCS program and GSU had some quesitons to answer. Glad they pulled it out. I imagine they'll improve as the year progresses.
ULM having to pull out a squeaker is a surprise. They were heavy favorites and were supposed to be in the conversation as one of the better teams in the Sunbelt. It would have been embarrassing for the Belt if they had lost. Should be interesting to see if this was just a bad start.

Re: Georgia State-Kennesaw State
You're pretty close to right...15,478 per ESPN game summary. No way there were that many, the stands were pretty much empty and it was pretty pathetic looking. That freshman QB for Wake looked pretty good in his college debut and we could see him in 2020 when we go to Winston-Salem.AppTraveler wrote: ↑Thu Aug 30, 2018 7:30 pmThe crowd (and I use that term very loosely) at the Wake/Tulane game tonight is massive. Maybe 2000 in the stands. Sure they’ll list 20,000.
