No shame in this loss, lots of disappointment but wow what an effort. Really like how Thomas looked. All of those shoestring tackles PSU made will be 30 yard runs against SB competition.
Agreed. That’s the quickest reacting defense we’ve seen at this level, and we had them on the ropes.

Juuuuust missed that deep ball to Virgil early in the game too that could've been huge.

This team may drop 70 on Charlotte next week.
I’m sure their fans were cheering when our final score was announced. Run it up.

I’m glad. You never want to sound like sour grapes but this occasion called for SOMETHING to be said. I’m glad Satt has the nerve to tell the truth about the way the game was called, albeit appropriately tempered given the context.

I'm proud of our effort, but Penn St escaped and now knows what App St football is all about! We had chances. Pain and pride run deep. I'm looking forward to this season. Our overall effort farly surpassed our opponents. Big things to come.

So Close! Man I wish we could get the W in one of these games. But, I too am proud of these guys. They gave #10 all they wanted and scared over 100K people to death. Some of the looks on their fans faces were priceless. Anyway, we should have another great year in our conference. I would love to run the sunbelt table and I think its possible. I also agree with others about Thomas. He is going to be fun to watch. Forget that last INT young man. You played your butt off today!
I kept pausing it and taking pictures of the Penn State fans faces. It’ll give me a nice smile on a future tough day. Zac has nothing to be down about, that INT was not on him at all, a future NFL starting CB just made an extraordinary play on the ball.
My 8 year old and I kept referring to them as the kittens in the 4th (the fans specifically). Their expressions were priceless.

My God I'm happy about the future with Zach at the helm. I'm also very happy for Rubino to have successfully completed the onside kick.

Nothing to be sad about. Great effort, kept fighting. Penn State knew full well what we were capable of. We don’t sneak up on anyone.

The App crowd at the game was loud the entire game. It was electric. The 100 yards of penalties vs the 10 PSU has was unbelievable. We looked very good!

As well here, but this old man is flat worn out from this game and turning in early. One a final note thought before I go. I think I chose the wrong week to stop sniffing glue! :(

So so so proud.

I’m also beyond devastated. This is one I may not ever be able to get over

I don't know if I have ever been more proud of our team. They played with great fortitude for 5 quarters and I am so proud to be an App fan. It's gonna be quite a year. Oh, and we seem to have a pretty good backup QB! Ya' think?

That chop-block refs kept calling was bull, make contact up top, knock the guy back and go low on follow thru. That is not chopping!

For some reason this one hurts less than the other close P5 matchups.

Tennessee hurts because we should have won but missed extra points and FGs cost us the game.
Really, the same for wake forest, and the implications of being a home game and renewing the rivalry.
This game, we executed, played hard, played well. In the end, a better team made 1-2 great plays at the end of the game. We did our best, but Penn states best was slightly better. We were expected to lost by 4 TDS, and took them to OT. Any other DB may have not been able to come down with that interception, and we go into 2OT.
Thomas looked extremely cool and comfortable all day. Not a slight to Taylor Lamb, but Thomas looked more comfortable in this game than any of the P5 games Lamb played on the road.
Really excited for the rest of this season

We could see him raising hell from our seats all the way up in the stratosphere. A lot of those calls were downright ridiculous.

I'm surlrised that we still have fans with the "little old App State" mentality. During PSU's pregame Alma Mater the entire upper App section was chanting for our boys. The couple sitting behind me had the fucking nerve to say "Well we don't deserve to win after doing that." Let that sink in...

It was very disrespectful to be chanting during their alma mater especially after the hospitality of the PSU fans... let that sink in.
