Week 2 Poll Votes?
Ahead of tomorrow new polls release......How many votes do we get for week two?
I'm thinking we go up from the 16 in Coaches Poll to around 40 votes.
AP Poll ...hopefully we will get into the honorable list somehow.
From a minimum standpoint ....We are definitely worthy of the top 35 in the country.....no ands, ifs and buts!
What say folks?

Well.... If the Big 10 refs have a say in it, we will be flagged for illegal equipment and assessed a 15 spot penalty.

Re: Week 2 Poll Votes?
Maybe a little, but we're still a G5 team that lost to a P5 team. If we would have won I would be surprised if we didn't get votes. But since we lost I'll be surprised if we do. But I hope so!

I think we either stay the same or we lose votes. Should we get more votes? Yes, but I don't think we will get what we deserve.

If we lose votes I assume PSU falls a couple spots.
I think PSU stays at 10 and we double our votes.

Re: Week 2 Poll Votes?
I think we'd have been ranked had we won. I expect the effect will be negligible after a loss, and Penn St. may drop a couple spots.
As an aside, I find some of the #RankAppState hype on Twitter a little embarrassing. Yes, I'm proud of the effort, etc. But nobody who really thinks their team is top 25 gets that excited after a loss.
Let's let the guys go pound a few teams and then we can talk about being ranked.

Re: Week 2 Poll Votes?
It doesn't matter what we do on the field.... The NCAA got what it wanted. The upstart, that doesn't bring them a lot of cash, got beat. The big boy, that brings in millions for them, won and is going to keep playing for a national championship. The fact we don't bring millions and millions to the revenue table will keep us from doing anything. No matter how much we win, we will be playing Toledo in the "Nobody Cares Bowl". The difference between us and Boise State? Money..... It's not about what we do on the field, we saw how they fix that, it's about how much money we have or bring in. You can call it sour grapes, being a bad sport, b1tch#$_ and moaning, conspiracy theory....whatever you want. In the end you know it's true and so very few of us have the cojones to say it.

Nothing in the AP; 16 in Coaches Poll... Behind Troy, who got creamed and Ark. State who survived an FCS team?

Arky State received votes in the AP, but nada for App State . . .
App did get 9 votes in the USA Today poll, same number as Duke, NC State, USF, and Iowa. . .

Re: Week 2 Poll Votes?
Doesn't surprise me. The Coaches poll normally views G5 teams more favorably. We didn't have any votes in the preseason AP poll, so I wasn't expecting any after a loss. We'll probably need to get to 3-1 or so before we see any votes there.
As for the Coaches poll - If we can keep winning, once conference play starts, the major conference teams will start eating their own and we'll be able to start moving up the ladder.
