App golf bag

Unread post by scatman77 » Tue Sep 18, 2018 9:34 am

I am in search of a Mountaineer golf cart bag. This is not the smaller one with the legs but a cart bag; it's bigger and has black and gold plus the block "A". I've searched all over bookstore, Amazon, eBay, you name it. A

Anyone have any suggestions?

Smitty, I bought one many years ago online from one of the "App" retailers. Strangely enough, I would like to get an "App" carry back now.

I've tried App retailers (that I can find) but still not much luck. The bookstore used to sell the bag but I don't think they do anymore.

Call Boone Golf Club. They usually carry a couple in stock.

Regarding carry bags; those are hard to find. Ive seen people get some from the head golf coach and i have seen some people buy the App state patches and iron/stitch them on the bag. The patch is typically the way to go. Easy and a heck of a lot cheaper than paying full retail for a "specialized" bag.

I don't believe this website is in service. The top of the page says:
"Sadly, SportsFanfare / Feeny Enterprises is closed for business, and we would like to thank all of our customers for the relationship we have had. Please send an email to service@sportsfanfare.com if there is a need for contact, which will be monitored intermittently until 3/1/2018. Thereafter, the site will be closed to all correspondence. Thank you again for your business."

Funny, I have an old black and gold Wilson carry bag that I use just to rep the colors. It's a bag I've had for a while and have long since replaced the clubs, but just can't bring myself to change bag . . .

I've bought two of those over the years. The first I got from the bookstore, the other was from that store in the Mall, can't remember the name.

That's mine too but I sure didn't pay $247 for it. It was $199
