I did not see anything from GS that tells me that our Mountaineers should not beat them.

Things haven't always turned out as they should when we play them in their gnat infested hog pen.

Keep any eye on TCU tonight and San Diego State tomorrow night. They are right in front of us in AP poll.
TCU loses tonight.

Perhaps not but they are 5-1 and 3-0 in the Belt. We do go there. I seriously doubt it will be a cakewalk. And, it's not like we throttled Texas State the last time we played them.

App State football V2018 is on a different level from V2017. Should be a cakewalk.

Should be a cakewalk.
We will get their best shot.
If it is like last night with either team we will have numbers like we did with 9ers

Certainly nothing so far in performance from the Gumroots indicates they have their best team ever like our V2018. Some of those GNAT teams with Adrian Peterson or Tracy Ham would have embarrassed their current version last night. We are at an all time best currently, the Rednecks aren't. A QB injury could change the outcome against us in Shreksboro, were APP should be a double digit favorite.

It will be a war in Statesboro. Conference game, primetime, bitter rivals, spectacular version of the Black and Gold, newfound confidence in the boys in blue. But our most important game is the next one........Beat Louisiana!

I was really worried about Southern until last night. Will be a good game, but unless we turn the ball over 3+ times, I just don’t see them hanging. Some good athletes but no teamwork.

I'm not going to draw any conclusions about a team flying to Texas for a midweek game. These long distance short week games can throw a team off.

While I'm certainly not pulling for the gnats, a tv game between a 6-1 GS team and a 5-1 App team will look good to AP voters.

I drank the Withers Kool-Aid longer than most. I really thought that Texas State was on the verge of taking a big step for the past couple of years but they just continue to stink up the field. I don't know what the issue is but Withers just isn't getting it done.
