Peoples
I believe Satt will burn Peoples redshirt. Why else would he put him in a game late and in control with 3 or 4 games left? Peoples has been in 2 games already if I am not mistaken. This one makes 3?
Not knocking the descision, I dont think we have the horse power we had prior to Moore going down and Peoples will give us more options down the stretch.
What are your thoughts App faithful?

Re: Peoples
Yeah, this is just his second game. We have 3-4 games remaining, and I assume Harrington will get some action in a couple of those games. Unless we have major issues from the RBs,we aren’t burning his redshirt, especially at this time of year. We will have him for 4 years, starting with. NExt year

Re: Peoples
Peoples looks like a grown man out there. Looking forward to this guy in the years to come.
Crazy how our offense turned around so quick with Zac at the helm.

Re: Peoples
Amen. Thank God for our defense and them carrying us during these rough times without Zac. Now that Zac has returned, let’s finish the season by crushing all opponents and making a statement to the AP, Committee, Nation that us being a Top25 was deserving. This team is special, there is no doubt.APP93 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 10, 2018 9:16 pmYes, amazing what a starting QB does for an offenseappstatealum wrote: ↑Sat Nov 10, 2018 7:55 pmPeoples looks like a grown man out there. Peoples is listed at 202 lbs on the roster. I stood beside him after the Gardner Webb game. He looked bigger than that

Re: Peoples
Harrington was on tap to be #2 behind Jalen , Evans in the slot. I could see this lineup next year with Heath gone,if everyone is healthy.

Re: Peoples
I get that he is big and is oozing with talent, but all of this talk that we will need a true Freshman down the stretch is a bit concerning. I am looking forward to watching play but if we NEED him, we are screwed.

Re: Peoples
My opinion is that he's giving Peoples garbage time snaps just to help him develop for whenever he's needed. I cannot imagine that he'd burn a redshirt on him unless it's absolutely necessary. He looks good and has great size but he's still freshman. If we do need him in the Troy, CCG game, or bowl game these garbage-time snaps will prove to be valuable both for him and for Satt to see what he can do in an actual game. If he's not needed then he's got a little game experience heading into Spring practice and next year to build on. Get used to wearing shades because the future's bright my friends. Let's beat Ga State, Troy and then stomp the SBC West rep in Boone. Then crush another MAC school in Alabama.

Re: Peoples
I agree 100% with this. The only thing that I will add is that if he is cleared to play from a physical standpoint, then getting him in to take some contact will help getting over the mental hurdles.

Re: Peoples
Yeah if he is completely cleared I would expect to see him if the GSU game is secure early.

Re: Peoples
I was there yesterday. 2 quick observations.
1. Harrington did dress and go through full warm ups for the second straight week. That has to be a good sign.
2. Peoples is a bruiser. He did a very good job on a blitz pickup on a 3rd down play.
