Rather than putting effort into guessing where Satterfield will go and who should replace him, maybe we have some threads for Fox to be replaced?

The ROI on men's basketball may be the worst of all 18 sports we sponsor. Let's use that cash to pay Satt.

So tired of being irrelevant is the second most important college sport.

I have serious concerns about Fox's leadership. I don't see player improvement. All I see is a angry Long Islander yelling at a bunch of southern boys and making them lose their love of the sport.
Actually, Forrest and Ike have improved tremendously.

The bizarre thing about it to me is that it does seem like we are well coached sometimes, just not at critical moments when losing a lead or getting a loss could be imminent. I was thinking possibly 20 wins a couple weeks ago and now I think we struggle to get the 15 we got last year, just because we can’t close out close games against what often appears to be inferior teams, from a talent perspective.

Radford beat #17 Texas tonight. Let that sink in.

That's bad coaching. I was watching Virginia against Maryland on the road the other night and they had 2 turnovers the entire game. Maryland played out of their mind and still lost.

Not a good picture you paint, nobody likes a loud mouth yankee, not in the south anyway.

I've given this guy the benefit of the doubt for long enough. Even approved of the extension. Time for a change.

I really like Fox....but that was bad coaching tonight. We don't run plays. I know a lot of schools don't run plays. We need to run plays. Schools without raw talent that win, have Great coaches that run plays to get their players easy shots. It also allows the rest of the team to know when a shot is going to be taken so they can crash the boards. We should be able to get open shots with the rest of the team crashing the boards. We have enough talent we don't have the plays.

The end of the game was bad. Dribbling the ball for 20 seconds, when you are down by 1, with no movement, is saying "the other team is better and we are going to heave a shot at the last second and hope our 15% chance shot goes in." We shoot or drive with 20 seconds left many chances of winning still exist. Maybe fouled, maybe make the shot, miss and foul and can still HEAVE on at the end with 2 seconds. I like coach Fox and I like what he is building but it is time to win games we are supposed to win.

He is a good man, recruits well. Not sure about the x's and o's.

I used to coach AAU 18U basketball, a lot of the errors we are talking about are absolutely coaching. I would always stress that if we did not have a full understanding of situational basketball and the fundamentals upon which it is built, it did not matter how talented we were, we would ultimately lose.

This team is painful to watch in "end of game/half" situations. Do we not practice??? UGH!!!

I have been a fox supporter the whole time. He did well not recruiting kids that can't read and do math, but no way this team should be 2-5 without a d1 win...basically 0-5. We have talent. If he can't minimum have a winning conference record this year there is no way we should keep him

I'm not really seeing the benefit to hashing this out so early in the season. It's not looking good but I am withholding any conclusion until we have more information on this season. We aren't going to make any decisions mid season anyway. We might as well hope for improvement.

The was not Fox's fault at all. This one is on me. I had a late night at the office and starting watching in the 2nd when they had stretched the lead to 13. The lead slowly began to fade away once I tuned in. I told myself to turn it off, but did not. Sorry guys. I jenx the game.

Maybe...the lack of game ending plays sure but fellas we got screwed by the refs. Foul on Shabazz going to the basket, Secat getting a 5th foul for a call where the EC U player pushed his own player in the back on a putback and the offensive goaltending that was so obvious. At least 8 points
