Alabama-Clemson Predictions
I know it's not our beloved Apps, but the National Championship is kind of a big deal. At least it provides a brief break from Ted Roof and Ginger/Mary Ann .
I'll start:
Clemson comes up with a couple of timely 4th Quarter stops and wins it 31-27.

Hoping Clemson wins, have big SEC and Death Star fatigue.
The SEC #2 Georgia lost. If the Death Star would lose, it would be a nice HAHA with all the propaganda and crap the non SEC fans have to endure from the networks shoving it in everyone's face about how great they (SEC) art.

Re: Alabama-Clemson Predictions
It's hard to say. Both teams have only looked mortal a few times this season-- Bama against UGA in the SEC championship and during the second half of the semifinal game (plus letting a terrible Arkansas team score 31), and Clemson against Syracuse, A&M, and during parts of the UofSC and BC games.
My gut says Bama, but their struggles (to the extent that they had struggles) came late and Trevor Lawrence and others have been on fire for Clemson. Last I checked, most sports books have it as Bama -5 or -5.5, and S&P+ calls for Bama by 1. I'll say 27-24 Bama.
Should be a good one.

I'm pulling for Clempson but I think Forrest Gump's alma mater will bring home the hardware

Re: Alabama-Clemson Predictions
Clemson Football beat the crap out of Furman (They still suck) and Georgia Southern (They still stink) this year. I like that. I am pulling for ACC over SEC and hoping for the upset tonight:
Clemson - 24
Alabama - 21
Clemson - 24
Alabama - 21
Give Em Hell!!

Re: Alabama-Clemson Predictions
I think a lot depends on the mobility of the QB's as both D-lines will really put on the pressure. I give the experience edge in this scenario to the ALA QB's. In addition, if either starting QB gets knocked out (a possibility with those D-lines on both teams) the advantage goes to the Tide. I could care less who wins, I just look forward to a sloberknocker…….

My prediction for game time is help the kids with homework, put them to bed, watch a bit of the game, get board, turn it off and continue with Red Dead Redemption 2. It hard to get thru a game like that when you can only play it after the kids are sleeping.

I guess I am pulling for Clemson. I don't think Nick Saban will let a freshman QB beat him, I don't care how good Lawrence is.

funny! It's a wonder that the SEC Network or CBS or the four letter network hasn't used Forrest to promote Alabama.appaneer1984 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 07, 2019 10:23 amI'm pulling for Clempson but I think Forrest Gump's alma mater will bring home the hardware

Re: Alabama-Clemson Predictions
All in for Clemson tonight. We had a pretty good time tailgating with the Orange a couple years back. Parked in their "stadium lot" and set up the Yosef tents and flags. They were pretty good sports about it so won me over.
I'd pull for Bin Ladin over 'bama though so it's an easy pick.

Actually I am pulling for the most beautiful blond Clemson cheerleader I have ever seen in my life. They put the camera on her during national anthem. A beautiful girl.

Re: Alabama-Clemson Predictions
This is Bama first test against a balanced team.... not going well so far. When you have a good defense, but can score and put pressure on another team to score, you can create turnovers.

Feel your pain. Took me over 100 hours over a number of weeks at night when my wife and kids were sleeping.AppfaninCAALand wrote: ↑Mon Jan 07, 2019 10:36 amMy prediction for game time is help the kids with homework, put them to bed, watch a bit of the game, get board, turn it off and continue with Red Dead Redemption 2.
