Re: WBB Sun Belt Tourney
The difference in execution during clutch situations between our two basketball teams is striking.

Check out the game clock on the opposite backboard. What a shot ... both the ball and the camera!

Re: WBB Sun Belt Tourney
Proud of this team. They aren't dominant world-beaters, but they give their all, scrap and hustle, and they are motivated, well-coached, and are fun to watch. This all has resulted in a top tier finish, and a strong tournament performance. Today they are playing with house money against the #1 seed, but upsets can happen when a team gets on a roll in March. Give 'em Hell Lady Apps!

I couldn't be prouder of this team. Win or lose today they have made an impression in the Belt and are positioned to continue to improve going forward.

Re: WBB Sun Belt Tourney
This Little Rock team is awfully good and we haven't matched up against them at all previously. It doesn't help that the Apps have played two consecutive nights and UALR has been resting. That said, I know the Apps will represent and make us proud, just like they've done all season. They've made amazing progress and should be proud. I know I am!

They handled us fairly easily in Boone but the post season is a different animal. An uphill battle no doubt but we know the effort will be there.

Re: WBB Sun Belt Tourney
As someone that has in the past denigrated WBB as boring, wow was I wrong.
That 1Q was exciting, and loved the fight our team has.
Also, can we point out how much of a boss Elderkin is? She literally had me in tears with her abundance of positive energy and frantic coaching.
Its a shame that more people don't know of her awesome story.

Re: WBB Sun Belt Tourney
Almost afraid to post this but here goes anyway. UALR is the only team in the SBC our WBB team has never beaten. It's time...TODAY...roll on Mountaineers.
If it happens to the Apps, it happens to me!

Little Rock leads 49-43 at the end of the 3rd quarter. We're still in this game. Go Apps!

My Scoreboard app was lagging or something. It was actually 58-56 at the end of the 3rd. Apps are playing tough!

Not sure we have enough gas in the tank. LR up by 11.

Re: WBB Sun Belt Tourney
We could not buy a defensive rebound.
It’s a shame the score is going to be lopsided, it wasn’t that way for 80% of the game
