***THUR UPDATE*** APP STATE / UNC WX TRENDS

Unread post by WXAPP » Tue Sep 17, 2019 3:02 pm

No major changes to the forecast thinking. Sunshine. Dry air mass, so it won't be muggy. Direct sunlight in Kenan, on the visitors side, add 10 more degrees for the first half. Stay hydrated.

Remember, Zima will dehydrate you and foul your intestines. :)

---------------------

Lot's of earlier life memories for me with Kenan Stadium. I'll be rooting from Harvey's in Huntersville. As a Crum, I just can't. Here's hoping we hang it on them and turn that sea of blue into nothing but pure Black & Gold by the end of the game Saturday.

For those going, yell, stomp and holler. You can't compare the dedication of a Mountaineer FAN to the brief ZIMA attention span of a so called UNC "football" fan. Football, for them, is a way to killing time until basketball season.

UNC fans can be easily distracted by a good Chardonnay, a port cheese and Wheat Thins.

Go there and show them how it's done!

---------------------

Weather looks APPSTANDING for some football Saturday. Sunshine, dry and seasonal for Chapel Hill.

10 AM: Sunny - Upper 60s

NOON: Sunny - Mid 70s

KICKOFF: Sunny - Mid 80s

HALFTIME: Sunny - Mid 80s

END OF GAME: Sunny - Lower 80s.

---------------------

GO MOUNTAINEERS!

Looks like we will be sweating our balls off if in the sun. No matter, we will still kick ass in the fan enthusiasm department.

Humidity is forecast to be low and the game is at 3:30. It should be fairly comfortable and will cool as the game goes on.

As a precaution, players drink lots of water and Powerade; fans should drink Yosef golden and some optional water.

Glad I only got two tickets and I’m leaving the kiddos at home. My son is pissed, but at least he won’t be baking like me.

People, it is not going to be near as hot as Greenville was. Rest easy tonight and be ready to enjoy a great day tomorrow.

I survived the Panthers home opener roasting in direct sun with humidity and 93° heat. 85° and low humidity sounds pretty pleasurable in comparison.

Just remember everyone, stay hydrated with Yosef Ales (and some water).

If I remember correctly, ECU was mid to upper 90's with their typical 90% humidity. Definitely nowhere close to that. It'll be warm, but not unbearable at this game.
