Charlotte Hornets 19/20
I haven't jumped back on the bandwagon, yet, as it's just one win. But it was cool to see PJ Washington go off in his debut. Perhaps they finally got a pick right. I have mixed emotions about Devonte Graham, but think I can get past our history and pull for him. Bacon is turning out to be a solid contributer as well. Bridges is going to be solid. I'm still hopeful on Monk. Zeller is not my guy though, that is the position that needs to be addressed the most. I'd rather see Bismack or Willy.

Yeah... it's still going to be a long year. I doubt either of those teams tops 25 wins. But it was nice to see some of the young guys get off to a good start.
Hard not to think what might have been with Graham, esp. with him looking like he'll stick long-term in the NBA. I'm over it though. Good for him.

If Graham had stayed committed, we probably would have kept Capel longer, so maybe we should be thankful he decommitted?EastHallApp wrote: ↑Thu Oct 24, 2019 9:20 amYeah... it's still going to be a long year. They play the Lakers Sunday in LA. That should be a very good game. I wonder if the Hornets can beat them...wait a minute they must first play the Timberwolves. My bad 1-0.

I was at the game last night and had told the people I was with that I think we would be surprised by them this year. Coach Borrego is happy to have the restrictions off and actually put his fingerprints on molding this team. You could see the potential in PJ at Kentucky, he had a gravitas anytime he was on the floor. With him adding the 3 ball, his game fits perfect for the NBA. I'm excited to see how Miles and Bacon develop as I have been high on both since we drafted them. Monk is playing for his career now, so we will see how he responds. Zeller is a huge asset when healthy, his movement at the 5 is strong and he is a great pick and roll center. He won't ever have people swooning, but his game is perfect for this team and many others in the NBA.NattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote: ↑Thu Oct 24, 2019 9:12 amI haven't jumped back on the bandwagon, yet, as it's just one win. Yes it will. Good thing is, they appear to be watchable.

Eight games in, looks like only a matter of time before Graham replaces the $20 million man Rozier in the starting lineup.
