Cincinnati: The school plans to announce a new athletic director by next Wednesday, according to Justin Williams. Former AD Mike Bohn left for the USC head coaching job.

But seriously, if DG is in the hunt, this is terrible for us. This will waste a ton of valuable time. Early signing, AKA new signing day is 12/18. We need to have things in place by then.

Isn't next Wednesday tomorrow?...it is, by all accounts, the next Wednesday on the calendar.

I would speculate Cincinnati wants to name an AD as soon as possible as well.

Take the Drinkwitz buyout $1.7m money and give it to Doug Gillin. We need him to finish all the work he has started. In DG I trust.

By all means, bump DG's salary as far as it takes to match/exceed any/all Cincy offers. We need his skills-experience-energy-vision now more than ever. It will be $$$$$ well-spent!
