Denzel Dejournette

Made his Monday night WWE debut tonight. Got his butt "kicked" in about 2 minutes. Not they performance I'm sure he would have liked to have been able to give, but sometimes you've got to be the jobber

Predetermined outcome...the kid's gotta "pay his dues" before he gets any opportunity for upward mobility toward headliner status

Exactly. He may never be a star but he also could be. Triple H was punished and had to be a jobber for 2 years in the 90s before he became a WWE Champion. It happens. Denzel has time and with his look and skills I would have to think he won't always be a jobber. That is my hope anyway.

Lol. I see the reactions of some people in the crowds when I flip a TV broadcast on sometimes and I really think some adults believe some of that is real. Even when it appears real it is staged. Best way to do it is blur the lines so people question. Take real heat off screen that is known and incorporate it in the script.

Hey, former App State women's volleyball outside hitter, Ashley Fleir, has made it big in WWE as "Charlotte" Flair. I see no reason why Denzel can't. Of course, Ashley grew up in show biz glitz, so she had a considerably unfair head start on her competition!

Having Ric Flair as he dad gave her a big advantage. I'm sure Denzel can do it as well. He has talent. He just needs a little more time and he could be in for a push.

I snuck in a WWF (at that time) update on my WASU sports update one morning. Gave the usual scores and such from the mainstream sports and then gave a highlight from pro wrestling which was hotly contested due to referee interference. Got slapped on the hand on that one and the rest of the staff were reminded to only cover "legitimate" sports.

My ex-brother in law who was a huge wrestling fan acknowledged that it wasn't real but said that just because "they" know who's gonna win "he" doesn't so what does that really matter?

Movies aren’t real, we watch those. I’m not a huge wrestling fan anymore, but good for everyone who is and anyone who can make a living doing it.
Give 'em hell!
