Well we closed on a cabin in Boone March 31 we have been remodeling and traveling from Hendersonville to Boone every weekend since with no problems. I have been wearing a mask where ever we go in Boone or Hendersonville.

I hope this group doesn’t get involved in when and how students will come back to campus. But they will, got a bad feeling about how things are going to go this year at ASU.

Some of these make little to no sense. Buncombe County decided the extreme measures NC has taken weren’t quite enough. Restaurants can start opening on limited capacity state-wide. Here in Buncombe County and Asheville....get this...masks are required to eat at a restaurant. Yes, a mask must be worn... to eat... We’ve all been told we shouldn’t touch our face, but here we will have to touch our face to move the mask covering our mouth before replacing it between bites.
These new “rules” prove you can’t fix stupid, and prove just cause someone is in charge, doesn’t mean there’s much “going on upstairs.”
I have family in Tennessee, South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia they all seem to be getting along just fine.

There is a race on in a lot of places to be seen as the most protective. then you have some small town councils who want to out-do another with the lunacy. Somehow trampling the rights of citizens in the name of perceived protection is all good. I'll call that the blinker theory, you know how people sit like idiots in a parking lot space, or in the middle of the way with blinkers on, you know because that makes it ok.moonshine wrote: ↑Fri May 22, 2020 1:01 pmAs previously mentioned, this is impossible to enforce! Since most of the leadership around the country doesn't appear to have a clue with how to deal with the current situation, BTC just threw something together to make it to seem like they are doing something.

Re: Latest Boone visiting restrictions
So how is Boone going to enforce this lunacy? They don't have enough officers or jail space to lock everybody up. People have been transporting illnesses and viruses in/out of that town for hundreds of years but now they think they can prevent it from coming to town?
I guess this is how we are going to have to live in the future if these folks have their way.
